Description
With the smaller R2 and R3 on the way, Rivian is not neglecting its first (and flagship) models. For the 2025 model year, the R1S SUV and its pickup truck twin, the R1T, don’t appear significantly different from the outside, but they are comprehensively reworked under the sheet metal. Rivian has changed more than half of the electric vehicles’ hardware components, from the batteries and motors to the suspension, and fully redesigned their software.
